Alberto Mammarella  is organist and harpsichordist, and teaches Music History in the “Luisa d’Annunzio” Conservatory of Music (Pescara, ITALY). He received his PhD in Musicology and Musical Philology from the University of Pavia  (Italy) in 2007.  He taught History of Medieval and Renaissance Music from 2011 to 2021 at the Department of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (DiLASS) of “G. d’Annunzio” University (Chieti, Italy). His research interests include Renaissance madrigals, Italian sacred vocal music of the seventeenth century, Vocal chamber music between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He is member of the Board of the Quaderni dell’Istituto Nazionale Tostiano, and recently edited the reviewed and updated edition of The thematic catalog of Francesco Paolo Tosti (2023).
