
Antonella Coppi is Associate Professor in General and Social Pedagogy, Music Pedagogy and Community Music. Her academic and research interests have focused on the themes of lifelong education and learning processes, strategies for inclusion and care across different stages and contexts of life, with particular attention to community development, creative spaces for learning, training, artistry, the interconnections between various artistic languages, and intergenerational relationships within educational settings.In addition to these research areas, drawing on her extensive academic and scientific expertise in music, she has explored topics related to music pedagogy, with a particular emphasis on innovative models of music education for social change, delving deeply into the field of Community Music. She is the author of numerous scientific contributions in Italy and abroad, including the monograph “Community Music. Nuovi orientamenti pedagogici” (FrancoAngeli, 2017), the first work in Italy to address this subject.
