
Silvia Del Zoppo Graduated in Philosophy and Piano Performance, she earned her PhD in Musicology in 2018 from the Universities of Milan and Heidelberg (double degree). Her research was supported by the Fondazione Confalonieri-Milano, the Exzellenzinitiative der Graduiertenakademie Heidelberg, and the Philosophische Fakultät (heiDOCS Program). Her dissertation was published by Peter Lang (Berlin, 2021). She has been a research fellow at the University of Turin, collaborates with various foundations (Levi – Venice, Appiani – Monza, MEIS – Ferrara), and has received numerous awards, including the “Forneron” Prize (2019), the “Pontecorvo” Prize (2020), the “Adolfo Pini” Prize (2021), and the GATM Award (2022). She received a scholarship by the Accademia dei Lincei (Ronga Prize) and a special mention in the 2nd edition of the International “Casella” Prize organized by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. She has published musicological contributions and participated in several international conferences. Additionally, she has worked as an editor and author for the magazine Amadeus and currently holds the same role for MusicPaper (GazLab ed., Rome). She has taught at the Conservatories of Como, Cremona, Pavia, and Gallarate, where she also served as Artistic Production and Research Coordinator (2021–24) and is currently the local manager of a PNRR project. An Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan, she has obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN). Since 2024, she has been a tenured professor at the “Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro.
